4l80e filter help!

Default 4l80e filter help!

Ok so I have my pan down and the old filter out but I can't get that washer thing out! And I can't just put my new filter in now because I cut it up on accident with my pick. How can I get it out! Truck is in sig.

should just pop right out i did mine 2 days ago? if not just reuse the one thats in it?

I actually just got it out! Had to use needle nose plies and bent it in on it self and yanked it out. Only thing I'm worried about is the filter not being in their all the way ill post pics and see what y'all think

That's how it looks. That's also as far as I could get it.

And my pan. I was actually impressed their wasn't too much clutch material in it. No metal shavings either! Defiantly a weight off my shoulders! The strips in it was my finger lol

Also anyone know the torque specs to the pan?

I can't remember it was either 96 or 108 inch Lbs which is like 8-9 foot pounds.

I put them at 10 ft/lbs but i don't think it should be a problem.
