Default 4L80E in Denali??

I am sorry for a major repost if so...I have a 2002 Yukon Denali with crazy mileage and recently replaced the transfer case. I know the original trans is a time bomb that is ticking and have a 4L80E out of an HD silverado (2000 model i believe w/20K miles). Wondering if anyone has tried this conversion or how hard it would be if so. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I am currently working on putting a 4l80 in my truck. Aside from the transmission cross member mod and the usual electronics mods you will need the trans to transfer case adapter from a 2500hd. You will also need the frickin gasket that is hard to find for the same adapter. I don't have part numbers in front of me but will try to locate them if you need them.

I am trying to reuse my drive shafts. The front one will work with modification to the shift bracket. I dont know what mod yet I have been told that it needs to be modified to work. I think my rear shaft may work also. Not sure yet but I should know tomorrow. I hope.
