Default 4l80e Build

Went to a local tranny shop and got a quote for a 4l80e build
just curious if it looks like its missing anything or the price looks outta wack?

S. L/S 4L80E 96-UP FIBER (W/BONDED PISTONS)
4L08E BEARING KIT 1991-UP
BUSHING,4L80E CASE (NO WALK OUT)
KIT,4L80E REV BOOST VALVE & SLEEVE 91-UP
SPRAG 4L08E INTERMEDIATE HEAVY DUTY 34 ELEMENT CAM TYPE
BAND 4L80E LOW-REV (UPDATED DESIGN) 97-UP
SOLENOID KIT,4L80E
PLANET 4L08E FRONT ROLLER CL DESIGN
(RED) LUBEGUARD AUTOMATIC TRANS FLUID SUPPLEMENT... ( he said to run mobil 1 syn fluid)

only thing i see missing would be a shift kit, but theres prob something missing that im not seeing too

he quoted me for the above $1094 $225 of which is labor

Well it seams like an o.k price, depends on what you can pick up an 80 for...

yea, thats kinda what i figured..the cheaper i get an 80e for the better the total deal is

If you are capable of it, you would be better off by starting with a good trans and installing a shift kit...

Ditto ... shop around for a low milage 01-up (built after 3/01) from the junkyard, get Transgo's new HD2 shift kit, and call it a day.
