Default 4l80e back under the knife....again!

Well I finally got sick of loosing first and fourth gear at times, so I thought I'd try and fix it. According to my new ATSG manuel it had to be

Solenoid A
1-2 Shift valve
or Quad Driver Module??? <<What the hell is that?

I pulled the pan (After pulling the exhaust, and trans support ) and replaced both shift soleniods, I also checked the shift valves, which seamed to work smoothly. Shoved it all back together and So far so good....

The new Soleniods looked way diiferent than the ones that were in it......

The old solenoids had issues and were updated to the ones that you have now. I was taught years ago never to reuse them for this very same reason. Nice work, Vince.
