I've been seeing a lot of guys using 7 inch yokes trimmed down. I currently have the 5 inch yoke installed on my rcsb and just under 2 inches is sticking out at ride height. Seems fine so far. What is the correct way to measure for this?

im thinking of putting a 80E in my RCSB and this is a very valid question. bump

 

The more contact the better obviously. If you are measuring for a shaft, then I use the method on the Denny's driveshaft site. The yoke should really be installed on the shaft before balancing.
