I want to level out my truck its a 2006 z71, just looking for a good leveling kit, which ones are the best and will lift my truck the most?

 

For the money go to the bone yard and get your self a set of ford torsion keys, and get longer shocks up front. The ford keys are the ecact same as the reindexed keys you buy from a lift company. You could go to a ford dealer and price them, they may be under $100. The yards by me didn't have any, so I just ordered a kit from rough country for $99. Same year truck as yours. Truck parts USA has them with free shipping.

 

Oh, and if you want more info go over to full size chevy forum, a lot of info about leveling kits can be found over there. The guys on this site seem to be more of the lowered crowd.

 

If I was to get ford keys put in, from what year would they need be?

 

Any year up to an 03, I think that's when they quit using t-bars

 

I have a kit from daystar on my 04. not one problem out of them, and they're american made too. think they were around 100$ through my local tire shop. also you dont want to lift them too much with just the keys. doing so will limit your downward travel too much and make for a harsh ride.
