4l80 swap issues

I just did the swap from my 08 crew cab from a 60e to an 2005 80e. Use the harness by tunedbyfrost.com. It will take away any headaches. All you need to do is have the ISS codes removed. It's a p0717 code that only efi love can remove. I am currently on an hptuners tune and because of that my dash lights up like a Xmas tree with all warnings. Truck drives normal though so I ignore it. As far as driveshaft u have to get it shortened and high speed balanced as I did. I used 1350 joints on mine. Tuning was easy because of that harness and no repinning necessary. Literally plug n play. Converter locks up as it should n cruise control works. Lastly crossmember needs to be modified. Either get a new one or flip it current one around and weld a mount for the 80e as it sits one foot longer. I would post pics but away from computer that's y I'm on mobile. I just ordered the Frost harness. I'm in over my head, and tired of asking people for their help/opinion. I just hope that puts an end to my problems. Now I'll have to put my trans connector back how it was, I might need to find a new connector and solder it on because I don't think I have all the needed pins.

Yeah prolly best thing to do. And that harness will take care of it trust me. Just remember to take the iss codes off. P0717 if not ill have Xmas tree lights on ur dash lol. If u can live with it **** it

Welp... got the Frost harness in the mail, climbed under the truck and re-pinned the trans connector back to their factory positions, plugged the harness in and..... still stuck in limp mode.
I tried disconnecting the battery to potentially clear codes, they come right back. My brother will be bringing a scanner by tomorrow to clear the codes, but I doubt it will do anything. I guess next I'll drain the fluid, drop the pan, and put a probe and test light to things inside of there.
The fun continues...

Update again, it occurred to me that mongoose above mentioned nothing about changing the trans tune and I was still on the Exprss van c2500 tune, so I asked my tuner to load my factory trans tune back in thinking that may do it.
Good news is, with the Frost harness, I no longer have dtc U0073, bad news is, it still will not shift to first. I'm draining the fluid once the weather clears up and going inside the transmission to see if I can diagnose anything wrong in there.

I have first gear! Wooooooooo! I think it ended up being the "B" solenoid. I replaced "A" and "B" at the same time, but I read of others fixing similar issues after replacing "B".
However, I now need to have the trans rebuilt and converter cut and cleaned.
After getting it into first, while trying to drive around the block there was a similar whine/moan as I heard before, sounded a little different however. Eventually it got the the point where I couldn't drive forward from the end of my driveway to the front, so i had to back it in.
At first I thought pump, but after talking to Jake's Performance it was suggested that the forward clutch packs may be completely trashed. I also think my rear cooler line has been restricted this entire time.
Rebuild trans, cut and clean converter, flush cooler lines and replace rear line with AN hose, re-install everything and I should be back on the road.
However, I now need to have the trans rebuilt and converter cut and cleaned.

Yep, I'm pumped. Sucks I have to pull it out again and have it rebuilt, but at least I know I'll be driving once I get it back in.
Came home from work and had everything out except the torque converter bolts by the time the rain hit my area around 9. Nearly had it out in 3 hours with a dinner break, I'm getting handy at pulling this thing.
