Default 4L80 question

Got a 99 RCSB with a LQ4 in it, with a 4L80e, that is now grenaded, and i picked up a new one from a buddy for a good price, BUT the 4L80 i bought came out of a 98 K3500 with a 454 in front of it. Just wanting to double check to make sure that this one will work. I believe i just use the LS converter and flex plate and im good to go, but not 100%. any input is appreciated
