Default 4l80 guys with stall's

how much pedal do you have to give it get rolling? i have had a high stalled car before but it seems like i have to give it more than it should to get it rolling, doesn't seem like it wants to get moving until 2k or more. i have a circle d (should be around 28-3000) and an hd-2 haven't driven it much just around the block, reverse seems normal like the stall isn't there.

i haven't gotten a segment swap yet, im wondering if that could be part of the problem? i couldn't even get it up onto the rubber ramps to get underneath, all it did was rev up..

edit: just did some more reading, since i didn't get the segment swap done yet the trans is probably in limp mode, right? could this be half my trouble?

Yes, its definitely not going to run correctly if all you did was swap hardware. What sort of wiring modifications did you do?

yeah, if you're running on a 4l60e tune it starts out in 2nd or 3rd gear, can't remember. It will make your stall feel twice as high.

Sounds like you're gonna need to put it in reverse and back it up onto the ramps
