4l60e problems with tc please help!!!!!

Default 4l60e problems with tc please help!!!!!

long story short i have a 00 silverado that i did a tranny swap the guy who i bought it from sold me a 4l60e from a 05 colorado i had to change the bell housing from my original transmission so i did that and i used the tc that came with that tranny but when i put everything back together it sounded like it was slipping the tc on the transmission when i thighten the 3 bolts on the tc to flywheel it pulled it maybe half an inch idk whats goin on so i pulled everything down again and im using my tc from my tranny that is bout half an inch thicker putt everything back together and flywheel pulled tc maybe a quater inch is that goin to work??? Truck still taken apart for the most part i dont want to be doing double work this is very stressfull and frustrading.....if anyone can please help.......

1/4 inch is fine if more than that add washers between converter and flywheel so it wont pull the converter too much

And if i do add washers ill work fine with no problems??
