Most places will want to supply you one of there units, send yours for a core. Performabuilt is a great company, have great CS, I have been running one of their units for 4 years with good results. Ace is also good from what I gather.

In a big heavy truck like that it will still go out. might want to consider a 4L80E swap.
As far as 4L60E Not sure on what Performabuilt has to offer but I know FLT had billet shaft's as an option.
With the nitrous, I would recommend the billet shaft's option.
Both FLT and Performabuilt sponsor this site and stand behind there work.
Gilbert builds a good trans as well but no longer sponsors the site.
Vince used to work for FLT but now works elsewhere.

Are those 26's on your truck? Do you spray it with those on, or do you have some race wheels?
I ask because, driving with those on is like towing a trailer 100% of the time. The 60e ain't gonna live, no matter who builds it, if you're spraying AND running 26's. (Same applies with 24's and 22's, BTW).
