Well shes back together...

Saw no point in boring everyone with water pump on radiator in blah blah blah!!!!

Still not sure whether i wanna tell this story or not, but...... Ill do it anyway....
So being anxious I decided i wanted to fire it up before i got too far with everything but didnt want to run it without the belt on it, so i got belt on, decided it was time to start her up then i thought wel no maf isnt hooked up, so i argued with myself for a minute, and figured speed density for 15-20 seconds just to make sure nothing onvious was wrong was going to hurt anything...... So i fired her up and about the time i think about reaching down to give her a little gas, i hear what sounds like running water.... I shut the truck down real quick run around the front and realize for the second time on an initial startup on this truck i left the trans cooler lines open..... such a dumbass!!!

I havent even had a chance to drive her yet, other than out of my buddy's garage.... We are in middle of some ridiculous storms and his sideyard is a mud pit and on just enough of an angle that with the peanut butter crap they call mud around here it took 4wd and goosing it to get it upbthe hill beside the garage and the gate is just wide enough for the truck to fit through any sideways sliding would be very much not good

Default Square coils worth the time and energy??

I have recentky acquired a full set of 8 square coils from an 04 lm7 would it be worth my time to swap them in place of the round coils on the 99??

I don't believe there is any difference performance wise. I was under the impression the round ones with the heat sinks were better since they could dissipate heat.

I thought the square ones had the heat sinks, i know the square ones reposition the wire a little higher off the valve cover which tends to help with header routing

If there a better fit I guess go for it.

Found some info but nothing conclusive to me at least. The truck ignition coil upgrade - LS1TECH
