Default 4l60e to 4l80e swap

soory i am new to this site and not very fluent with thse online forums.
i am doing this swap in my 2003 sierra 1500 4x4 ext cab. i think i have a good grasp on things but i am on a budget. so far i need a good rebuild kit. my tranny guy said he pulled the pan off and found evidence of slippage(trans was out of a 02 rado 2500 HD plow truck). other than that everything looks good. and of course i want a nice shift kit as well. transgo? fyi i am not building a race truck. i just like performance. i have a lisst of things i need but want to make sure everything is covered before i start buying things. THANKS alot.

Yeah, transgo is a good brand to go with. Don't get too crazy or you'll be jerking yourself around at every gear change just trying to daily drive it.

Yeah I won’t be driving my truck everyday because I use a company vehicle fortunately. At this point mostly road trips and joy rides or hauling my chevelle around/boat. I just hate shift overlap. And that’s why I put a corvette Servo in my 4l60e. Was happy with the results especially only costing 25 bucks. Drove it for about a year and a half and then suddenly I had fluid blown out everywhere. Little did I know at the time but the Servo piston pushed out the cover and broke the area where the snap ring seats.....
