over the 3.42s. Of course, the pcm is still tuned for the 3.42s so maybe that has something to do with it. once I get the right tune in and get these broken in good can't wait to mash it and see the difference. It's amazing how much beefier the 3.42 pinion/gears are than the 4.10s

I asked the guy if I needed to change the oil @ 500 miles and he said it was up to me...hmm

Yah the tune is where you will feel it at, it will def have more **** from the get.. Congrats you don't have the new mods in yet??? Go beat on it

did you change your oil john?

This is the only mod I got in so far. Heads are next. I'm getting them assembled tomorrow.

Yes, just because I added a Thunder Diff girdle, but the oil looked like new

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that its not as pronounced as some would make it out to be. I did the exact same swap and I certainly did notice it. It felt much better around town for sure.

Some people make it seem like they just doubled their horsepower. It could be because they want to justify the $500-1000 price tag. I know mine hurt my wallet.

TUNE DONT MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A GEAR SWAP,JUST CORRECTS THE SPEEDOMETER,I FELT THE DIFFERENCE RITE AWAY GOING FROM 3.42 TO 3.73 W/O A TUNE lol
