Aliright so i want to lower my 4x4 3 front 5 rear called belltech and mcgauphys both said they will only recommend a 2 front 4 rear drop anyone do a 3-5 drop and over time any issues ? Talked to scooter k and he said he did a 3-5 but not sure if his is a 4x4?

 

What year is ur truck? I have a 3/5 on mine and its 4wd. Haven't had any problems yet..

And what does your kit consist of ? Im guessing 2'' front drop spindles and then you lowered the torsion keys?

Rear??

 

No I got 2500 keys and turned them down almost all the way.. so give or take 2 or 3..when I measured I got 3.. removed the blocks in the back and added shackles and hangers.

 

Thanks!, Hows it ride? And any wheel hop or ill effect from using shackles and hangers?

And im understanding that 2500 keys will get you an inch lower than stock keys all the way decranked?

i had this set up!%^^^^ rode like ****.. so i took 2500 keys off and put stock ones and decranked them along with spindles.. removed block from back added hangers and shakels and also took over loads off.. in reality its just a 2/4 but sits more like a 3/5... now i got bottoming out issues not i gotta c notch it...also installed belltech performance shocks allaround and aside from bottoming out.. truck rides beautiful..

 

Ride is a little ruff but i need to get new shocks.. no wheel hop..

i think the keys got me alittle lower then an inch cuz i measured 3 then i had to raise it up alittle for the alignment to work out. I also got a shim kit to help with the alignment.
