Default 3/4 Suspension Drop

Before telling me to use the search bar, I already did, and I still can't find an answer.

I NEED to drop my truck... It's too high. I finally have the funds to do so and would like to get it done within the next two weeks.

What do I need? Where can I get it? How hard is it to install?

Truck is 2001 Silverado Z71 ECSB. Still have the stock 16" wheels. I'd rather remove the stock lift blocks and use a 2" shackle in the rear, but I can't find the stock u-bolts anywhere...

Thanks

I think I just found a kit. Anyone know where I can find stock u-bolts or what the measurements of the bolts are?

Yea. I tried the dealer. They were no help to me at all. Guy even told me that the u-bolts were the same in ALL the vehicles that GM made... I turned around and walked out when he said that...

Just tell him you have a 01 ecsb 2wd 1500 and need the rear u bolts. He cant really **** it up when hes just looking in the computer.

Mines shackle/hanger, block out and spring clamps, then keys in the front.

Same here minus the hangers I'd like to do some hangers and spindles someday.

If it helps, here's the p/n I used for the 2wd u-bolts:

15002781

You'll need four (duh). As I recall, I spent just under $40. Once you're down 4" (I only went down a total of 3" - I used 1" shackles) you'll want to at least pull the bump stop brackets, and you may want to either trim or replace the stops themselves. I also replaced the shocks, going with Bilsteins...I can't remember the p/n but they were the standard shocks for 2wd 1500 trucks. I hope this helps - good luck!
