Default 2wd TH350, what to make it a 4wd??

If I have a 2wd TH350 what would it take to put a tcase on it? I have a friend that has a smokin' deal on one that is built and I would like to put it in my Samurai behind an LS1 I have. I have half ton running gear to go with it. I was thinking I can get just a tcase and bolt it up to the housing and let it ride but I am not sure if the output shaft has to be replaced. Also for this application what would be my best tcase option. Thanks

you need to get a tailshaft and housing to match t case. 2wd have a longer tailshaft and don't bolt up to any t case as is. you could go to junkyard and get a 4x4 tranny and swap tailshafts. np205 would be your strongest t case choice, 203 would be lowest gearing. good luck
