Default 2nd slave in less then 6 months.

Was driving home, was about 100 feet from where it went out the first time. Gave it a quick blip through first felt really really strong and spun posi (will do it very randomly if the pavement is a little slick), pushed the clutch knew right away what happened, just let it coast for about 500 feet then called my dad for a tow.

Next mod T-56, wont drive until then i guess back to driving the big block truck

well, that's shitty. I can't say this has happened to me, but my V6 just can't brake anything . So you're in the market for a T56 now?

On my old truck, my clutch line touched the exhaust and burnt a hole in it. Took it to the shop and had replaced, worked good, but had them bleed it twice. Worked well for lil bit, then lost all pressure, turned out they had made a very small hairline crack around the bleeder valve.

It not in the market right away, but i have another car to drive that gets 33+ MPG and i have very little bills to pay, so i can save save save i hope to have alot of it done by winter. Im going to buy a new T56 instead of used, the hardest part is going to be the tuning for the 6 speed.

I haven't had a chance to actually pull the trans yet and see whats up. But it did the exact thing last time, like to the T. To be honest, i wasn't even upset, i cant get mad about something i can't control and i kinda knew was going to happen.

Really? I wouldn't think the tuning would be too bad. From what I've heard you can just use your regular tune, but no cruise in 6th gear. Maybe a 4th gen F-Body tune will work? are you going through FLT for the T56?

Yeah you have to be careful when you're playing with the shift pressure and shift timing tables in the tune. Make sure it doesn't get your line pressure too high, or you'll just blow out another slave cylinder. I'd go with a higher stall clutch this time around too.
