Default 2600 or 2800

I need some Serious help with my stall. I plan to get a Fuddle, but have no idea about converters. I'm going with a 218/224 .562/.568 113 comp cam, and some mildy ported heads plus my mods in sig. I am planning on some LT's too when Pasesetter gets off their *** and gets them to fit 4x4's. Thanks for the help guys.
Oh yes, I want to break into the 13's on motor, and retain as much drivability as possible. I know my cake and eating it too.

I'd suggest at least a 3000 RPM stall. I love my Yank TT3000, but will probably step up to a Fuddle 3200 whenever I get around to beefing up the tranny.

I think stalls are like cams, you can always go a little bigger.

Personally I would go with at least a 3000 with that cam. 2600 would be way too small and the 2800 would be pulling it close. I have a slightly smaller cam than that and my 2500 verter does fairly well, but am going up to a 3000 or 3200 fuddle next month. Running 3.73 gear ratio you could probably get away with the 3000, if you had 4.10's, I would suggest the 3200. I spoke with John at fuddle about mine and he suggested the 3000 with my cam and 4.10's which go on in 2 weeks. He said if I stepped up to a bigger cam in the range that you are looking at that a 3200 would help it a bit.

I really would suggest contacting John @ fuddle and get his personal opinion. He might be able to shed a little light on the subject.

Another factor to look at other than the rpm rating is the str. The higher the str, the stronger the sotp pull factor.

for driveability i'd go with a 2800. i only went with a 3k b/c i drive the truck on the weekends and like to go to the track. on the street, it just smokes tires. if my truck was a daily driver, i would have went with a 2600 to 2800. your truck is probably heavier than mine so a 2800 or 3k should work fine.
