250 is way to high. Hopefully that is an error. If it is correct stop driving it.

im hoping it is an error in the way i hooked it up....it has 5 connectors 2 "GND", 1"S", 1"I", and 1 "+12V" i hooked both of the GND's up to a ground, the +12V to the battery the S to the Sensor and the I to the ignition fuse.... sound about right? but its only a 5v drop across the gauge tho????

It wouldn't surprize me if that was right. Brendan (low dime) has an s10 with an interceptor gauge and his temps get to the low 200s driving around in 80 degree heat. So I could definitely see a full size truck running just the cooler built into the radiator, up that high, especially in Houston.
