2003 2500HD 6.0l 4l80e trans issues, rebuild, swap ?'s
I have a 2003 2500HD 6.0l 4l80e trans in my 95 Silverado. The fluid starts discoloring every 10,000 Swapping fluid + filter again this weekend but feel a rebuild/swap is in the near future as the typical 1-2gear whine is louder.
To make it easier I have a 97 4l80e core out of a 1 ton 6.5 diesel - What rebuild kit/upgrades would you recommend for a basic truck that tows a handful of times a year.
any other considerations for this 97 diesel trans to 03 gas swap?
