2000 Silverado Nv3500 to nv4500

no clue... i bought a reman.
i do remember when i was replacing the clutch a few years ago, i weighed a rebuild vs reman on the 3500 & it was within $100-150 after counting their labor... so i just did a reman then, too. i'd call up a couple of the trans shops & get quotes for multiple options.

I sorta blame my self for not doing the swap now, makes weird grinding noises if I try to accelerate under 1000 Rpm and now also makes a noise that sounds like change rattling when cruising, the truck still drive really well though. Does the nv3500 share a clutch with the nv4500? as I just had the clutch put in buying a different one would hurt a little bit. 33s are going on Tuesday now.

flywheel & slave are same - pressure plate & disk are different
trying to accelerate under 1000rpm? lugging it doesn't help things.
when i fried mine pulling 7000lb in OD on the interstate, it ended up sounding like marbles rolling around in a coffee can when i wasn't on the gas and was tougher to shift.
