Yes, another friend has forwarded this to me. But there are still some questions he never exactly said on some of the things that he purchased on whether he used them or not.

Ok, the 05 chevy SSR comes from the factory with a t56, and that thing weighs 4,746lbs (DAAAAAAM!) I was worried about the t56 handling the weight of the truck when it was designed for lighter weight vehicals. Then I was looking at the weight of the cameros and firebirds (3400's) not to bad. But the ws6 trans am weighs 3,800lbs. My truck weighs 4,200lbs, I think I will be fine. I just bought the 6 speed. I am now waiting on the lq4 to arrive, STS turbo is in the garage, I can't wait. I wonder what clutch I should use spec 3? (spec 3 recommends billet fly wheel) Or should I just save alittle doe and use the Z06 set up? (z06 is alot cheaper)

The spec 3 is dam good but you will more than likely need to buy a adjustable master cylinder made by mcleod.

Looks like I am going to be spending almost a $1000 just for the clutch. I need the clutch preasure plate, spec 3 clutch, TOB, billet fly wheel, new slave, and adjustable master cylinder. DAAAAM! Mo Money, Mo Money! I swour up and down I would not mess with this dam truck when I got it. Dam! OH! the pain!

I am waiting for the motor to get here. It's shipping from boston. The guy has not shipped it yet. It's a lq4, I want to go through it and make sure everything is ok, and change the valve springs and use arp bolts. I have the 6 speed (1998 ls1 m6). I am trying to figure out whitch clutch to use. I figue with the sts turbo, lq4, fmic, 42lbs injectors, walbro fuel pump. I think I should be in the 500-550hp range. I need a good clutch. I dont want to give my left nut for a clutch, I think I may try to just get buy with a billet flywheel and a zo6 clutch. I want the Oz 700 clutch, but that is 900+. So did you figure out the flywheel issue? How did the swap go? Any other complications?
