My 1/8th was about 11.1, but were about to fix that soon with some 4.11's. Also, going to pull some weight off the truck, I have found an est 350-400 lbs worth of extra stuff I can unbolt/change next time I run.

ha, yea, but no I thought the delta was higher but supposedly someone with the same wheels as me but a little shorter tire weighed them in at 72 lbs each. My 16's weighed 60 lbs each with tire.

I should drop at least 40lbs of rotating mass by going back to 16's, plus I can pull tailgate, rear bumper, towing package, spare tire, spare tire hoist, somewhere around 25lbs of 3/0 wire, extra battery, amp, and if i really needed to, fight about 25-30 lbs of sound deadener i put in there (not looking forward to that).

And fold my mirrors in, i'm sure that will drop my drag coefficient about 0.001

Oh, and wax my truck - a guy told me I should see a gain .. haha..

Lol the Hell with that, I run at the track with everything in and on the truck, zero weight reduction.

Other than the wheels I dont think I would spend much time with weight reduction. Thats not going to help you as much as gears and a converter.

On my car that i used to run (2400lbs) 100 lbs of weight made a huge diff, but i have not experimented with weight reduction on this much heavier vehicle.

The truck is bone stock, no tune - supposed to get a tune when BB comes to New Orleans in Feb. Only code i have is for the downstream O2's and this is because i "think" the prev owner gutted the cats.

Current plans are - for fun and scientific reasons,
Run again with weight reduction
Run with previous scenario + 4.10 gears
etc.. keep doing one thing at a time and running to see the effects until i get enough bolt-ons on the 4.8 that i want for a 6.0, then pull and swap motors and drop the 4.8 off in my toyota.
