Default 20" drag radials: Getting closer

So it's that time for me to get new tires again and while researching I came across the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's. I've seen these on f-body's and BMW's and people really like them and the C4 guys swear they're almost as sticky as DR's. So I figured it was just another car tire, but....they make it in a 275/45/20.

I've never seen or heard of anyone running these on a truck, so what do you guys think?

Goodyear rates the treadwear at 280, whereas the crappy GTII's are up around 420.

AFAIK they appear to be the stickiest tire for a 20" rim that's a truck size!

Those would be nice if you didn't have to backhalf the truck to get them on there.

Yeah, but those are all for like 18" wide rims. Most of us on here aren't about to back half our trucks to get some sticky street rubber.

They have shorter ones, but I don't think they're for 20's. 29.8" is pretty much the factory size, so I figured most of us could benifit. You can still run a 4/6 on 275/45/20's right?

Most likely, but then I'd have to figure something out for the front. 26" in the front and 30" in the back would look funny. I currently run 265/35's out back and 255/35's up front.

Do you have a 5/7 or something? 26's are crazy small.

I meant 27. Nitto says that they're 26.75, Michelin and Kumho say 27. I have a 4/6, but I might go lower now that I have the flush crossmember.
