Yeah, but that's too narrow.

Oh well, I'll keep my eye on them. Maybe they'll come out with a 285/30-20 or something cool like that.

So I figured it was just another car tire, but....they make it in a 275/45/20.

I've never seen or heard of anyone running these on a truck, so what do you guys think?
do you have a pic of them??

by the way I was reading in a magazine today and saw that general grabber UHP have a 295/45/30?? dont know how good they hook but some members say they work pretty good??

by the way they also have a 295/50/20.... hmm m

How well will a drag radial for 20's work? I figure that you need a little sidewall to keep the effectiveness of a sticky tire and I'm not sure how well that will work with a low profile sidewall. I know the tires aren't drag radials but wouldn't the principle be the same?

A 20" drag radial that's roughly 30" tall will have roughly a 5" sidewall. A 275/50/16 DR will have roughly a 5.4" side wall. I know radials don't wrinkle the same as slick, so I don't see why they wouldn't perform all that different. The taller 30" tire would have a better contact patch too. These aren't drag radials, but they're a lot closer than what we've had to work with.

Yeah, I'm already checking into it. I'm going to see if the Discount tire here will price match tirerack.com.

I had some F1 GSD3's on my mustang. On the street they were better than the nitto drag radials as far as all around traction. I never ran them at the track though.

Well my guy at discount here said he'll match tire rack's price plus the shiping. I'm still on the fence, because if I have to pay the shipping fees, then I might as well just go with tire rack, because I'd have to pay tax at the local discout tire.
