Default 2" drop shackle questions and pic request

thats what i would need to level the truck out right? also dose it require anything eles, like new shocks?
i have heard that lowering the rear can screw up the angles and prevent good hook up true?

some before and after pics would be great if you got em.

the shackles are cheap and they will level the suspension by droppin the back 2"
you dont need anything else and you can do them pretty easily.

It will level it and doesn't require anything else.

BUT if you want to do it right, you might need some pinion angle shims. Some trucks do have trouble with the driveline angles after install.

Werd. I had to get the 2 degree shims to stop the vibration I had from 5-25mph. Oh and if you install these yourself, get a BF hammer, a set of vice grips and a can of penetrating lube. Just a heads up mine were a bitch to get off.

Impact FTW!

The biggest pain in the *** about the install is taking off the trailer hitch to do the work.

You just switch out the drop shackles with the stock shackles and that's it.

When i bought my truck it had 2" shackles installed and it was level.

Pinion angle should be fine. and problems with hooking up happen with more drop, from bottoming out.

There are also 2/4 drop pics in the Show/Shine index if you need more.
