2'' Drop on rear

Default 2'' Drop on rear

OK I am planning to drop the rear of the truck 2'' is this all I need the 2'' drop shackles part # bel-6400 and the pinion shim kit part # bel-4975 and does Belltech sell a quallity product? I am not at all familiar with lowering these Trucks so Thanks for the help.

Thats all you need. Most shackles are the same. I used belltech on mine before I went lower and never had a problem with them. I don't think you will need a shim kit for just the shackles, I never did anyways. I think I actually still have the shackles if you are interested, shoot me a pm.

all you need is the shackles, and it only take about 30mins to install..

werd. those shackles will work. you don't need the shims as stated before.

Thanks for the replys I ordered them today they should be here Thursday but I am going on a Cruise next week so who knows when I will get them installed.

You may need the shims if you have an ext cab. If you get a vibration, you need them.

I dont have an ext cab but its a long bed hopefully there wont be any vibration.

Breeze, I assume you've had these in a while now, and as one of the few fellow longbed guys on here, how did they work? Did you have any vibration? I am looking to install the same Bell 6400s on my '02 LB. Thanks, Justin
