Blew 3-4 out yesterday. my 4th 60e in 1000 miles.

Dont use Alto clutches in the 60e, Stick with Borg warner .

This truck doesn't warrant a 4L80E - it's essentially stock, but I'll try the Vette servo and see if it helps.

I found that this slips a lot more when it's warm. Right after start when the trans is in warm-up mode and holding gears a little longer, it shifts about how it should normally.

Which servo should I replace?

This is what my mechanic essentially told me too. I want to have him do the servo and go back with a transgo hardened seperator plate and do a flush and filter and see how it is.

Solved! Turns out it was the PCM. I swapped my stock PCM back into the truck and it shifts fine now. I don't know why or how it was causing the poor shifting, but it is working how it should now.

I have had red eagle clutches in mine for 8 months now. It's finally started to slip some. But it gets rode hard and put up wet most of the time. But certain people have better luck with some brands than other people do.

I couldn't tell you how many 60Es I been through. We tried everything in the tune with no luck. In the end the 80E will be the best choice if your making decent horsepower.

I think i went thru about 17 haha..

But even now with no boost and a stock LQ4, the 80E still is a nice touch.

Here is an article that you might want to read and see if it applies to your vehicle. http://www.sonnax.com/system/pdfs/13...pdf?1289926276
