Default 15inch rim on back of a 01 silverado?

Will a 15inch rim clear the brake caliber on the back of a 2001 silverado?

They will fit if you grind the calipers.

depends on the rim and backspace. My rear is narrowed and I only run a 4 1/2" backspace but I had to grind a little more than an 1/8" off. Remember any more than a 5" backspace and you'll have to swap to S10 Calipers.

yeah it sounds like its easier to stick with a 16 inch rim, i think imma just get some et streets that are 28/11.5-16 and try to hook on those. last time i went to the track i was roasting my 26 inch et's so in hoping a 28 will give enough sidewall so i can bite.

Thanks for all the help!

So do the s10 calipers have a lower profile than the stock silverado/SUV rear calipers or is the Banjo bolt just in a different spot?
