However for folks that don’t have the time or just don’t want the hassle of piecing together components and have the cash, Drivetrain dot com has a 14-Bolt 10.5” Conversion package that is built to replace the 10-Bolt ½ ton rear end using the original backing plates, brakes and six-lug wheels from your original axle. Like I said, it may just be an option for some that have more cash than time and don’t feel like hunting down a rebuild-able axle.
