Default 1 blown G80!!!

The G80 broke! not sure exactly where.
One side of the truck is covered in rubber, the other side is almost clean as a whistle.
it was 90 degrees out and a strong headwind
Heres how it went down.
I did an easy burnout, nothing crazy, it hopped 3 times, when I felt it hop the first time I let off the throttle, it did 2 more baby hops.
stage
go
tires went up in smoke with 3/4 throttle, let out, got back in it
heard some clanking and such, I automatically thought I messed up the tranny install.............well.......the tranny is a beast and still shifting hard as hell.

Rear End(i.e. G80) is a different story, makes a squeeking & shushing noise when turning but is ok in a straight line, drove 100miles home at 55mph.

still had a good time though

my truck is making some serious Tq, I need to get into the rear end to see if I burned it up or grenaded it..............looks like I'm back to two wheels for a while.

Sucks to hear that, what do you have planned? LSD or Locker? A Detroit would definitely solve your strength and traction issues, but if you want streetability, that might be a bit rough with a detroit and a radix, haha. Good luck and lets see some carnage pics

Bah! Good excuse not to get a real time

Get that sucker fixed up bro. Avoid the wife's wrath and the ridicule of tech members. It's a fine line to walk.
