'08 z71 4low question

Is there somethng special supposed to be set for it to engage? The 4hi and auto work just but the 4low just sits there and blinks. Truck only has 6500 miles on it thanx

You need to be stopped to shift to 4 lo, or moving very very slowly. Also maybe in neutral?
