Default Chevy Tahoe upgrade

I have a 2003 Tahoe that I'm looking to upgrade the engine in, and I'm wondering if the new LT4 Corvette engine would fit it. I'm looking into buying one but I'd like to know, from someone with more knowledge/experience than I, how well it would fit, and what all of have to change to run it. Along with any other advice you may have as far as further performance upgrades based on that.

Surely it will fit but how are you going to control it and run it?

And do you want everything else in the vehicle to work like stock?? Because I'm not sure you'll ever it to run unless you figured out some stand alone system for the engine and transmission. They do require BCM function with a stock computer and your vehicle could never do that.

Other stuff needed in a whole new fuel system, they are direct injected motors. I think the new motors do not have power steering pumps, they have electronic racks.

Honestly you are far better off just building a 6.0 GEN 3 motor and dropping it in. Tune that and have alot more power.

Upgrade ?

About 8 pounds of manifold pressure should do it.

a Gen V engine is a tall order for our older trucks. unless you're doing it just to say you did, you can get the same power with a lot less cash & headaches using Gen III or IV stuff
