Default **Hoosier 28x11.5-17 Stiff Wall Slick** PLEASE READ

Hey guys, I am trying to get something going with Hoosier to start producing a 28x11.5-17 stiff wall slick. They need to sell 100 tires to get them rolling. This tire would be ideal for heavy vehicles that need more support than what the current 28x10-17 slick offers. The stiff wall slicks consist of a drag radial sidewall with a slick cap. If you would be interested in this tire please contact me for more information so I can try to get a head count.

30 tires have been accounted for so far. 70 to go before this is a reality...

30x10 in 17" would probably be a good seller for guys that want to run stock rim and not have to recalibrate the speedo. I myself would be all over that, 28" is a little short compared to the stock front tire height.

This ^ ^ ^ 16's or 17's would be great for anyone running rear discs and can't clear a 15" wheel. Most of the 30" tall slicks out there are for 15's or are too wide for stock wheels/wont tuck.

Sounds like a great thing for all the truck guys. I would sign up on other truck boards and post this up. I am sure once they get out and people actually see them they will become the new standard in must have equipment for hooking up.

As mentioned we don't have much offerings and this would be a good match for most daily driven trucks since most have a comparable size from the factory. Not mention the production performance cars in general are going to bigger wheels and brakes.

Bump up for status update from the OP on this...

As it has been mentioned, if it were a 30" tire I would be more interested. I would be super stoked for a 30x10.5x16 dot rated tire. I have been sending emails to hoosier and MT for several years asking about that size tire.
