**Hoosier 28x11.5-17 Stiff Wall Slick** PLEASE READ
#12
I'd rather have say a.. 30x11.5-17 as a possible alternative to the M&H 390-40-17's (29.5x12.5x17)I've run for years.
same time a 28x11.5-17 in that stiff side configuration sounds like an improvement over the 28-10-17 Hoosier slicks I've run quite a bit 1/8 mile this year.
(but don't run in the 1/4 do to stability issues even in the 1/8 and the fact they are a bit short for my gear ratio n mph to run in the 1/4)
Aside from the above and that they just look, and are, too narrow, I do like how the sicks hook and wear. AND of course the fact they are less expensive than the almost ridiculously expensive 390's is notable when you buy multiple pairs per year.
Same time I do mostly run 1/8 mile so... either way I'll probably end up with a set of either or both if they make em. lol
Any idea what the actual specs would be?
sidewall width at ? rim width
recommended rim width?
Tire weight?
assuming it's tubeless...
Oh and with a radial sidewall would it be stamped as a DOT tire? that'd be sick.

Bump up for status update from the OP on this...
As it has been mentioned, if it were a 30" tire I would be more interested. I would be super stoked for a 30x10.5x16 dot rated tire. I have been sending emails to hoosier and MT for several years asking about that size tire.
