Ok, I'm just brain storming here so don't eat me alive! Just kinda playing and wanted some opinions. I've seen alot of guys install these TBSS intakes, and some installs look really nice and some I don't like so much (just my preference not talking smack). I like the idea of cutting the fuel inlet tube down and welding it back in place so it shorter, just not sure how the bracket is gonna come out[, and that I trust anybody local not to screw it up. I want this thing to took legit so it doesn't get pupu'd by the tech inspectors at the track. The track recently switched owners and they are STRICT! I got told I wouldn't pass tech again with out a new windshield cause I had a crack across the top passenger side corner! I've seen where guys make up a 2.5' braided hose with Dorman fitting and run a big loop around and over the top to get the vette FPR further forward so the fuel in and return lines aren't pinched on the firewall, and I don't really like that either. This idea isn't much better but I think it might look alittle cleaner. Has anyone ever ran the fuel rail on the intake backwards? Kansas has no emissions or visual inspections so I'm gonna delete the evap, so that a moot point. Tell me what you think...

Thinking I would still make the braided steel line with the Dorman fittings but run is under the front of the intake and tuck it in a little closer. Run a longer bolt and a spacer between the rail tab and through the bracket on the vette FPR to attach it.

Does this look like its far enough ahead not to pinch the fuel lines on the firewall? What do you guys think?

I got my return style rails to fit on mine without puting a new cross over tube on I'm using the newer injectors with adaptors the newer injectors were longer and had to trim and or smooth down some of the intake

I don't really know came with my spare motor geussing it was a 03+ cause of the dbw throttlebody on it, I used 1" spacers grounded down to .74 added a washer gave me .79 and it all fit together I havnt installed mine yet needing a throttle body or the adaptor

I did mine the same way as the post below. I had the fitting brazed in at a local welder only cost me 30 bucks and to buy the fitting to make the cross over was 35. I pressure tested my set up to. 150 psi with not even a fraction of a leak for two days . And as seen in the pics below its a clean set up. Now as for the TBSS rail with the vett filter it works to but u also have to plumb the fuel return and it has to be tuned for the vett filter setup. The choice is yours I'm just telling u the method of modified a stock return style rail works well
