There is a member, stock48, running same setup. I've been contemplating to do the same setup for long. I have aero 340 intank and it's doing good job at my hp level.

i did this same thing. I drilled a hole in the rear of the tank, ran a line up to my "custom" fuel rail crossover. I cut an inlet off another fuel rail and welded it into the stock crossover. Second pump runs off a hobbs switch and stock regulator works fine. Fuel pressure is consistent and rises 1:1 with boost. Works great! Been that way for 3 or 4 years now.

Did you just drill a hole in the bottom or run a rear sump? Any pictures of this?

Drilled a hole in the rear. The pump only runs when I'm above 5psi, and the back of the tank is where all the fuel will always be at that point. I could take a pic sometime if you want. Think I tapped the hole for 3/4 pipe and used some epoxy also. Never leaked or had any issues.
