Default Help, Newer trucks, 09-13, walbro 450, pics of my stock pump

I have been reading and reading and reading..... I think I have found a glimmer of hope.. I have read the whole thread about the walbro 450 being compatible with the stock fpcm. I see that Byrdman11 and Carbongmc may have worked this out... I need some more details if you guys or anyone else could help.

This what I guess my understanding from the thread is
1 You guys are starting with the stock bucket and pump of a flex fuel truck
2 You are completely removing the flex fuel pump and cutting out the stock
filter that is part of the gray plastic top of the bucket.
3 You are installing the walbro 450 in the hole that remains from cutting out
the filter.
4 somehow connecting the walbro 450 with a tee fitting that still allows the
function of the venturi pump/port to operate and keep the bucket full.
5 powering the walbro 450 off of the stock FPCM
6 The fuel system is still returnless

I have a 2011 Chevy Colorado with the stock 5.3 V8 with a magnacharger TVS 1900 at 4.5 psi. Tried a smaller pulley at 6.5 psi and the upper rpm range the fuel pressure started dropping. I am looking on a solution to this problem. If anyone has pics on how they did this or could give more details, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some pics of my stock pump.

You need the bucket like the the flex fuel silverado. They have a tube that fill the bucket not that small hole in the bottom.

That's the ticket. I keep looking at my bucket and trying to figure it out and it doesn't look possible. I am going to order a pump module for a flex fuel silverado like yours. Once I get it and get it torn apart, it will probably be pretty clear on how to do it. Thanks. I'll order it this week and keep ya posted. I am off to hp tuners to download a flex fuel silverado tune to see what's different with the programing of the fpcm. I may need to order that too. Thanks again

You don't have to use a flex fuel bucket to make sure it works. PM me and I can tell you how to make it work

Here's some pictures, I finally got an e85 Fuel pump out of a 2011 Silverado flex fuel and a walbro 450. If you can give me some pointers on what ya did, I would surely be thankful. Sorry about the tablecloth, flowers and such. Thanks

Default fuel pump

they now make a 320 that's designed to work with a FPCM
it's a little shorter to fit better in the bucket. they have the specs
on line to check out.
