i could. i was just thinking go 8an out as well because of the fuel rail? but ur saying reduce the fitting at the rail and run a 6an line correct?

Yes, not sure if it matters if its 6 or 8an. I have mine the same as the pic, but with the 6an fitting and line to the reg. Haven't had any problems. Just figured 1 less fitting would better since it will not be as bulky and its just another place where it can leak fuel.

From the pump to the bulkhead use a -8 bulkhead with a female 5/16 barb fitting screwed to the bottom side of the bulkhead inside the tank. Then run gates 5/16 from there to pump.

would this work? and just add hose clamps? also what hose would you run intank?

Search gates 5/16 submersible fuel line. 5/16. Orielys has it.

Use factory style corrugated tube inside the tank if at all possible. It's 1/4th the price of the gates and more durable. People have had failures with the gates submersible on here.

Ok thanks guys ill have to do some searching in the morning. I think i got all the parts layed out hopefully be able to order the hoses and fittings soon

Aproxametly how long is the new feed line you guys are running ? I'm thinking of getting a string and trying to measure out a route to run it. Just need the feed line, fittings and fuel filter.

Also would it be OK to run the push style fittings with a hose clamp? Just wondering ?
