Default fuel rail 90 hitting alternator

Quick question fellas. I just put the proflow xt intake and rails on. The problem im having is the front of the driver side rail 90 fitting is hitting the alternator . I have a straight npt to an with a an to push lock 90 on the rail.

Could I go with a straight cut straight to a 90 to bring it in a little, or would you guys go with a 90 straight off the rail ?

What do you mean by "straight cut"? Got any pics of the issue? Did you measure the distance from the rail to the alternator? The only problem with the 90 NPT to AN fitting is, I always have an issue with it not "clocking" the direction I need it to without it being loose or way too tight. Don't know why Edelbrock just don't use AN on there rails instead of NPT.

Why not go with a NPT to AN 90*
it will be alot tighter than a NPT to An straight and then a 90* hose end.

With NPT, you can make it clock right.

or if your worried about clocking, go with something like this.

The NPR to an 90 that nonnie posted is what I was going to go with, I was just wondering if you guys see any issues with making that tight of a turn.

Yeah, that's why I don't get why edelbrock don't use AN instead of NPT. Much better to use the fittings with the jam nut and not have sealing issues and you can clock it perfectly.
