Will I be okay if I go ahead and remove the inline 044 for a few days so I can mod the bucket? Of course I have to be very easy with the truck until its installed in the tank

 

Drive your beater car around untill you finish the new intank or drive the truck till you have all the stuff to get the job done. It's not that long of a job to do. What gives

 

I haven't gotten the new pump yet, I have a spare fuel picket that I've already started modding. And it's my wife's car

 

I started cutting my spare bucket. Went very easy with my dremal and an engraving bit and sandpaper but I got alittle carried away

 

I wouldn't cut anything out untill you have the new pump to see what needs to be cut away. Don't you have a 044 on the rail? Hook the lines back up, because your going to do that anyway, then use that pump to see what needs to be removed from the bucket. You will be a step ahead when the other pump gets there, you will be able to drive the truck for the time being.
