Default fuel pressure to high

ok i just got done installing my walbro 400 and racetronixs hot-wire kit I'm running a TBSS intake with the return less style fuel rail with a corvette fuel filter since my truck is return style my fuel pressure is at 80psi when running pretty sure its overpowering my internal regulator in my corvette filter which means i need a adjustable FPR anyone agree

I'm having the same problem with my 400 and hotwire kit. Idle pressure is now ~65psi. I have the stock 99-02 rails with the regulator on the rail. I'm pretty certain the FPR is being overpowered. I bought an Aeromotive regulator just need time to plumb it in to see if it fixes the issue. In the meantime I adjusted the IFR table in the tune to account for the high pressure for normal driving, and I don't get into boost because the tune will be off.

Aeromotive is always a good FPR. Are you running stock feed/return lines?

I have a aeromotive a1000 fpr. It does fine at idle with my 255. I have turned on both of my 255s at idle and my fP jumps to 60 from 52 and i have a -8 feed with -6 return. So i am curious if yalls works at idle with those big as pumps.

On a side note when i swap to the holley high rise i am going with a fuelab FPR.

I'm sure I have some in my build thread somewhere. I can post some later. But a long time ago when I ran a carb, I flared my feed and return lines and ran -6 AN line off them. So right now it goes -6 to the fpr, out of the fpr to a return less tbss fuel rail and returns fuel from the -6 rerun port of the regulator.
