Default Fuel injector rebuild

Is there a place that rebuilds fuel injectors. I had a bad one in my 6.2 Escalade. Bought all 8 new ones. The new ones just doesn’t feel the same. Might need a tune but they should be the same flow etc from what the parts guy at the Chevy house told me The dealership checked them and told me they were nominal flow. Looking to get these cleaned up etc. thanks

Post a log of what your OBD2 Long and Short Term Fuel Trims are doing at various throttle settings. Same for your oxygen sensor performance. This will help to tell you and the rest of us if your fuel injectors are struggling, maybe running lean.

Eight brand new fuel injectors for me would be crazy expensive at over $150 each for new AC Delco parts and I grieve for your loss here. I recently purchased and installed a set of four rebuilt injectors on Bank 1 to cure a DTC P0307 misfire code for $53 each rather than $150 each. These four injectors are doing well - no more P0307 code - but now I have a very intermittent P0308 on Bank 2 and will likely do those four injectors at the same time once again with rebuilt injectors. With over 150,000 miles on this engine, I'm not surprised that I might need new injectors.

But let's see an OBD2 log of operation from your engine and go from there.

I have had good luck with Fuel Injector Connection on resizing injectors. I presume their rebuilds would be just as good.

What was wrong with your original bad injector? Did its impedance go out of tolerance? Misfires? Poor spray pattern? Fouled spark plug? Some of these things are repairable and rebuild-able, some not.

I have brought some ten dollar junk yard injectors back from the dead running VERY HIGH CONCENTRATIONS of the expensive fuel system cleansers. This has also other good side effects such as cleaning up combustion chamber deposits, etc.

There are several places around the country that offer this service. They run them through an ultrasonic bath to clean them while pulsing them. They also replace the pre filter in the injector along with the O rings. They run them on a test stand to verify the flow rating and to watch the spray pattern.
