Finally getting time to start making changes to my truck. Need some more help with the surge tank install. I will be going from the stock fuel pump to the surge tank, surge tank to fuel rail, fuel rail to regulator, regulator back to surge tank, surge tank to factory tank. Plus inline filter somewhere. My question is what do I do with the factory regulator? I know its part of the sending unit can it be removed?

Is this the fuel pressure regulator?

If that's it do I have to plug anything or just remove it?

my guess would be to leave it alone. that will only limit the pressure filling the surge tank, your new unit along with the regulator controls the engines fp.

Is this correct? I connected my relay for second pump to the large grey wire (pin47) at the fpcm. Assuming my second pump will come on with the stock pump. Look correct?
