He said 76/68 in his post... Id say boost the 5.3 with turbo you have. When you feel like it buy you a 6.0 and stud it and prepare it for boost and drop it in when you feel like it and when you get tired of that, upgrade to a bigger turbine turbo...76mm comp wheel should be plenty for these range of motors... Just my .02c

Thanks for the advice and experiences fellas.
I ended up buying the 6 liter out of this truck.

Salvage CHEVROLET FULLSZ PU 2005 for sale, vin: 1GCHK23U65F850730 in PORTLAND, OR, 97218, USA, color: RED, price: 3900.00
Their website said they wanted 1225.00 for it. I found the eBay auction and they were asking 1499.00 with a best offer button.
So I offered them 1000.00, they countered with 1375.00.
I offered 1050.00 they countered with 1250.00.
So at this point I'm thinking "What the heck?!? They won't even go down to their asking price on their website?" So in the last offer I tell them no core charge, local buyer, pay in cash and they tell me to call them. I call them and tell them I'm willing to give them 1050.00 for the engine and I'll pay in cash. The guy on the phone said he could do that.
Sweet! With any luck I might be able to pick it up today. I can't wait to tear apart a gen III engine. I'm super excited.
