I had the same issue a while back. I used a puller and the damn thing split the threaded rod for the radix snout. Had to send the whole snout in for a rebuild.

Magna replaced the threaded rod and then put the damn pulley (the one I wanted off) back on. I was back to square one and pissed I even wrote on the pulley "take me off".

I ended up slicing the pulley near the shaft which let the puller start to slide it off. I even used a socket over the threaded part of the snout to prevent damage.

 

Did you notice a big difference? I keep thinking that it's just 2psi, not really a big deal, but people keep telling me that 2psi is a big difference.

 

FUGGIN HUGE!!!!!I am in awe, seriously, huge difference. Now...ofcourse every action has a reaction...IAT shoots up quicker and my InjD% is now 112% without the meth. But I am VERY happy.

Just heed the advice given here and use a three finger 5ton puller!

 

what kind of boost are you making now? i'm sure more than my 7-8 psi with my 2.8 pulley

 

Well, my digital gauge is off for some reason. As per the kpa converted, I was making 7.2 with the 3.0. And now I am making 8.7psi. It is rocking fast. I have this "particular road that I pass quiet a few cars on, and I have to get used to the new "lead in" on passing. You know, while you wait for the oncoming car to go by then floor it. I used to wait to right when the oncoming car gets to the nose of the one in front of me then nail it. If I do that now, I'll F-ing slam into the back the car in front of me. LOL
