Default WTF w/my radix pulley

Besides taking the nut and belt off, is there something I am missing here? My pulley is on like a ****. No budging. Rubber mallet?

Get a small or large 3 finger pulley puller. You dont want to beat it off and risk damage to the nose drive bearings. They get that way metal to metal makes it hard to get off when theres no lube and a tight tolerance. When you get it off before you put the new one put some antiseize or lithium grease on the shaft and the inside of the pulley. That will make it easy next time.

LOL I wasn't planning on knocking it off with a hammer, just asking, I have never seen anyone ask the question (hence the obviousness of just how easy it should be). I can't find my pulley/gear puller and was hoping with some small love taps it would come off. No such luck.

I didn't figure an impact gun would be a good idea either, doesn't matter, I am not lucky enough to enjoy a garage or such tools at this time anyway.

Well, it's grilling time. After some good cannibalism I'll get back to it, okay okay, maybe I'll get back to it in the morning.

I have the "Grippy pulley set up" ready to go...but that 3.0 doesn't want to get traded for the 2.8 right now.

Sounds like these pullies need a little ant-seize put on them before they get installed. Just don't get any near the belt!!

If I ever get the F-er off I have some anti-seize waiting for the new one.

Maybe your local parts store has one you can rent, a good one. I have also heard of people heating the pullies up in the oven before install so they slide on easier. Maybe you could hit it with a butane torch for a few seconds and then pull on it?

I got it, took just took what I knew it would...a better quality tool.

On a side note, quick drive...just added 1.5#'s of boost, and I like it...alot.
