Although you have to keep in mind boost is just a measurement of restriction. 10psi with that top end/engine combo could be 1000cfm where as 10psi on say a 6.0 with 317 heads is only 700cfm..... Cfm = power, not boost. Boost just achieves the cfm number

It would be interesting to see the pulley combination they were running and what boost/power that same combo would net on a more run of the mill setup

You guys are all wrong. My truck has 10 psi boost, therefore it has 919.4 horsepower.

From now on.

I hate that saying, boost is a measurement of restriction... It conveys the wrong message in every situation. With zero restriction to flow, you'd have no compression and presumably no combustion because there could never be an intake valve to close and block the flow...it wouldn't even be an otto cycle engine lol. Boost doesn't achieve CFM, Mitch. They have entirely different units.

No more describing it like that! Lol...it's a horrible layman's explanation.

+1
easier explaning
the ammount of water moving with 10psi of pressure through a 3/8 hose doesnt equal the ammount of water moving through a 1" hose on the same 10psi pressure

its as easy as that

The LSX 390 is our test engine. We will be posting up all the results from the dyno as soon as everything is put together for the video.

We have been testing our new belt drives, inlets, throttle bodies and superchargers. We will have some other testing going in a few months.

Here is the same engine with the TVS2300 of ours.

We have a bunch of new parts that are being tested on the LSX. We have been running a little crazy lately with all the new stuff. I have to get everything compiled from the testing for the videos that will get posted up after the first of the year.

Lots of new parts that are all rated to over 1000 HP for the truck applications! I am real excited about all the results from testing!
