Default Who has tuned a FM turbo 5.3 with 01 ZO6 cam and 317 heads?

Well i got done with my budget build front mount turbo 5.3 build in my 98 Trans AM.

I am currently working on the tune and was wondering if anyone had a tune i could compare to.... I am trying to work out some KR issues.

I am getting KR, AFR is good, Spark tables are conservative, IATS are cool, ECTS are 198-210, everything seems good but i a still getting KR i think its false kr.

I just wanted to see how my tune compares to someone elses tune with a similar setup....

I posted my tune and log.... I am open to suggestions and comments.

Here is my setup:
Junkyard Pullout 5.3 LM7
MLS head gaskets
stock 317 Heads with PRC Dual springs (giving me like 8.7-8.9 compression)
02 ZO6 Cam
Comp 7.425 Pushrods
ls6 intake
ported TB
FMIC
Master Power T70/.96AR Turbo
Homemade merge pipe/downpipe dumped by starter
60# injectors
NGK 8 racing plugs gapped at like 28 (cant remember for sure)
stock wires till the MSD's i ordered show up
stock tranny
VIG 3600 stall
stock driveshaft
Quick Performance 9" 3.70 posi
3 point subframe connectors, lca's, stock tq arm
summit stars, mt radials, mt skinnies

Thanks,

Blaine

24* is the highest across the whole table.... starting at .68gcyl 12* tapering to 4* at 1gcyl

it should be plenty low....

I know it looks a little butchered up... but thats an attempt to get rid of the KR

11 psi....

I read somewhere that the 5.3 had oversensetive knock sensor settings in 99 and thats what i was using so i changed the knock sensor setting to an 02 settings (from a tune in the repository)

Im thinking it is false... i havent tried high octance fuel yet because nobody sells it around here.... but removing as much timing as i did (where its at now) whould have reduced the KR or removed it but it didn't!

i herd the same thing! i would try that and see what happens... you have very little timing for it to have all that KR.

i was looking the log file over really closely and noticed that the KR under really light throttle most always happened at 50-65KPA.... Im gonna try to enable the PE table sooner and see what happens.

i don't think you can just load 02 settings into a 99 ecu and have it work. most people actually do a full rewrite from a 02 ecu tune. that will fix the "issues"
